Traveling school llkhanate Era

Traveling School in the Ilkhanate Era* Traveling school was one of the Ilkhanate's initiatives in the field of spreading, flourishing and expanding science and knowledge. After the Mongols had invaded and conquered various regions and established a government in Iran, they did not forget their tribal system and ranks and in winter and summer they would camp in suitable areas according to the weather. This type of life, when accompanied by the material and spiritual manifestations and manifestations of the new advanced culture and civilization, required the Ilkhanate to think about appropriate supplies to meet scientific needs. Therefore, scientific centers were established in the camps so that there would be no interruption in education and teaching. Historians have called this type of school a traveling school. The founders of these schools were Khwaja Rashid al-Din Fazlullah and Taj al-Din Ali Shah, ministers of Sultan al-Jaytu. Maulana Badr al-Din Ashtari, Azad al-Din Eji, Majal al-Din Motahar Hilli and his son were among the teachers of the traveling school.
This mobile school consisted of a canvas tent with a porch and rooms, and regularly had one hundred students. The students' needs in terms of food, clothing, and transportation were provided by the Sultan.
