(Second inscription) 1- I am Darius, king of kings, king of many countries and the Persians. 2- These countries that I have taken as my own by the will of Ahura and the help of the Persian people: Elam, Media, Babylon, Arabia, Syria, Egypt, Armenia, Cappadocia, Lydia, Ionia, Sagartia, Khorasan, Sistan, Herat, Bela, Sogd, Khorezm, Sadgav, Rakhj, India, Gandara, Scythia, Makran. 3- King Darius says: If you are so wise that you do not fear anyone, may Ahura Mazda grant the Persians a kingdom.
